Ecore DPF Solutions
Silicone Carbide (SiC) – SiC has a higher melting point at 2700°C as opposed to the 1200°C Cordierite (C/Cord) versions. Physically harder and stronger than the cheaper cordierite, SiC are widely used by Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) as their preferred components. Delphi SiC DPFs come with a 3 year warranty.
Euromax DPF Solutions
Precious Metal Washed – The SiC DPF core is coated in various precious metals (Palladium, Platinum etc) where applicable, which increases soot combustion opposed to Cordierite non-coated DPF’s. This allows much more effective and efficient regeneration especially on shorter trips.
