What we collect

DPF Sales Australia (ABN 70 169 589 440) collects the information you provide when you submit an enquiry or contact us by phone or email. This may include your name, email address, phone number, and details about your vehicle and the part or assistance you need. Optional details may include your build year, engine, VIN, chassis or part number.

Our hosting service may also record technical information such as your IP address, browser and pages requested to help operate and secure the website.

How we use and share information

We use enquiry information to respond, check fitment and stock, prepare a quote when requested and follow up about supply or installation options. Website enquiries are sent directly to SmartFormify so we can receive and respond to them. We may share the information needed to provide those services with our website hosting and enquiry delivery providers. We may also disclose information when required by law.

The separate confirmation page uses a random token stored in the same browser tab. Form answers and API confirmation content are not saved in browser storage.

We hold enquiry records in the systems we use to respond and manage customer requests. We keep them for as long as reasonably needed for those purposes or to meet record-keeping obligations.

Vehicle lookups, online orders and videos

AutoInfo operates the vehicle lookup on our website. Information you enter in that lookup, such as a registration number or VIN, goes to AutoInfo to identify the vehicle. If you prefer, you can call our team for fitment help.

Our online store is hosted by Unleashed Software. The store collects information you provide when you sign in or place an order. The Unleashed Privacy Policy explains how it handles that information, including processing in Australia and New Zealand.

Embedded YouTube videos may allow Google to receive device or connection information and use cookies or similar technologies, as described in the Google Privacy Policy. Your browser settings let you manage cookies. Other service providers may also process information outside Australia depending on their hosting arrangements.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask to access or correct personal information we hold about you, or make a privacy complaint, by emailing enquiries@dpfsales.com.au. Tell us what you would like us to review. We may ask for enough information to verify your identity. We’ll review your request or complaint and respond using the contact details you provide.

If you’re dissatisfied with our response, you can check whether you can lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
